This privacy notice will explain how Marquiz uses the personal data and will make a distinction between the information collected by Marquiz itself and information, collected by the entity using Marquiz software. Also, a distinction will be made here between information received directly from Clients and information received from their Contacts. The information about data collection, storage, use and disclosure will be given only for the data obtained by the means of the Marquiz software integrated to the third parties’ platforms or on the Marquiz website.

Our main priority is to provide the best service, so we really care that that the information that you share will be properly treated. Mostly we do rely on three main legal basis: your consent, legal obligations and legitimate interest. Contact is someone who use and fulfills the quiz made with Marquiz software. This privacy notice covers both –  the Clients and the Contacts. In some parts information will be covering only Clients or Contacts. In all other case it will be mentioned additionally.

Most of the times we do receive information about people who pass the quiz only from the Clients that making quizzes. The Personal Information that we may collect or receive about Contacts falls into the following categories:
  • Information we receive about Contacts from our Clients: A Client may provide Personal Information about you to us through the Services. They may provide us with certain contact information or other Personal Information about you such as your name, email address, telephone number, social media contacts, online messenger’s contacts. Moreover, when you enter the information in the gaps of the quiz built-in on the websites of our Client, we will receive it. You may have the opportunity to update some of this information by electing to update or manage your preferences via an email you receive from a Client.

Why do we need Contacts data?

Who also have access to my information?

For the Contact:

Both time we only provide the platform (Marquiz sowtware) to make quizzes. All other information is gathered by the one who use Marquiz sowtware and make his own quizzes. So, the one who control your information is someone, who have sent you a quiz, Marquiz only process it. We are not responsible for the way our clients (quiz-makers) use your information.
For Clients:

We do not transfer your information to any other sources.

How do we store your data?

Marquiz securely stores clients and contacts data at data center “ObjectRocket”, a Rackspace Company. Marquiz will keep your personal data until the objects of the policy are achieved but no longer than for 3 (three) years since data collecting.

Where is my data stored?

We store your data on the territory of the United States of America at data center “ObjectRocket”. We do all our best to maintain the same level of the data protection as is required by the GDPR and EDPB. We do provide the same appropriate safeguards as required by the EU law. We may only store data at the data center “ObjectRocket” only due to its’ agreement to comply with the requirements of the GDPR and the EDBP. Our basis for such transfers is set out in Article 49(1)(b): “the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract between the data subject and the controller or the implementation of pre- contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request”. While using our services you give your consent for the data transfer to the US.

What is your Rights regarding the data protection?

Our Clients and their Contacts have certain rights regarding data protection:
  • You can have copies of your personal data.
  • You can ask us to correct your information.
  • You have a right to fully erase your data.
  • You can restrict us from processing your data.
  • You have a right for objection of our data protection system.
  • You have a right to request a transfer of your data.
Security of your data
We do all our best to ensure your security, but remember, that there is not any 100% security system. If something happened we will contact you within 72 hours.
